Dear ITI Board Members, faculty, students, and friends:

Welcome to the first edition of ITI’s new e-bulletin, ITInews, which will keep you abreast of upcoming events and activities that impact our efforts. We will keep this information brief to avoid taking up too much of your time. In addition to the events highlighted, we will also provide links to recent press releases, articles, and other pertinent information that you can access as necessary.

I would like to emphasize, in this first edition, the need for us all to try to attend Traffic World’s Transportation Table forum that ITI Board Senior Chairman Gil Carmichael will address this Friday, 23 March. Detailed information is below.

Gil will discuss "The New Science of Transportation," and we should invite as many friends, possible recruits, guests from Capitol Hill, and other interested parties as possible.

I hope you enjoy this new communication tool. Please feel free to submit comments and suggest ideas for future issues.

Best regards,

Tom Finkbiner
Chairman
ITI Board of Directors
